We have just received our first major quotation concerning the Geo-Thermal heating system. Apparently, to heat a house the size of the one proposed (approximately 160 sq mtrs), we will need to drill two bore holes 75 Mtrs directly down into the ground. It looks like the cost of this operation will be around £4,500 in our case however, we understand that this can vary greatly depending upon the size of the building and the sub-structure needing to be drilled through.
